About us
At Hawkeyes Drone Academy, we strive to offer engaging and hands-on STEM experiences. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous creation, growth, and learning among both staff and students. Our curriculum mirrors this commitment and takes into account the diverse backgrounds and cultures of both our instructors and participants.

As our world becomes increasingly automated, it is crucial that students gain a comprehensive understanding of the STEAM disciplines. If you want your child to be ready for the jobs of the future, enroll them in one of our programs, subscribe to our newsletter for more information, or reach out to us via email!
Founder
Luke Qi is an IT professional and a Microsoft Certified Trainer who is passionate about education. In 2016, while he was teaching an ADST (Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies) class at John Knox Christian School, he realized that it was challenging to find qualified professionals who could teach complex subjects to kids in a language that was friendly and easy to understand. To address this challenge, Luke partnered with his friend Craig Bonamis, who specializes in STEM education, with the goal of getting students more engaged in coding and other technical studies. The result of this collaboration was the creation of Hawkeyes Drone Academy in 2020.
Mission
We are a group of problem-solvers who have recognized that the world is rapidly changing, and we aim to prepare our students for these changes. Driven by a sense of urgency, we design and offer high-quality STEM programs for young people who are the future of the world. By forming partnerships with K-12 schools, we can provide ADST courses and after-school STEM programs to their students with the goal of becoming the leading and most trustworthy STEM program provider and ADST curriculum consultant for K-12 schools in British Columbia. Our innovative curriculum, which is based on real-world applications, is intended to inspire students and contribute to their success in the future.
